Announcements!
- Guitars have arrived! A big "Thank you!" to Mrs. Partin at Pinon Elementary for the loan of the guitars. Guitar Club will officially begin Monday, October 5th from 10:00 - 10:15 (during morning recess). My plan is to have classes every full school day during afternoon recess. All students interested are invited to attend.
- Students, please start thinking about a book you would like to read for the month of October. Plan on scheduling part of the month to read the book and reserve the last eight to ten days of October to write a book report. The report will be due November 1st.

- "Morning Math Club" has begun! We meet every morning from 7:45 - 8:15 to work on "Fun and Unusual" types of math. This includes math games, algebra, logic problems, and Word Problem Solving Strategies. Please join us if you are able!
- Our "Reading Lunch Book Club" is in full swing! We meet during lunch on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The current book we are reading is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain. All students are welcome to participate!
